Challenge

A local Government was looking to brand and promote the country as an appealing investment destination, highlighting and positioning the country’s ICT sector and setting the communication direction for the nation’s first Economic Zone.

S2C Approach

As mandated by the Ministry of Planning and Economy, S2C developed a national communication strategy set to achieve the following:

  • Position and promote the country as an attractive investment destination, geared towards regional and international investors and stakeholders.
  • Focus strategic communication efforts on the state’s ICT sector and what it has to offer to investors in terms of know-how
  • Create a brand that brings together the country’s heritage and technological outlook
  • Position the first Free Economic Zone in the nation as well the authority managing the Zone

 

Outcome

The country was able to achieve global recognition as a regional hub for ICT research and development, in addition to attracting various key investors and tenants to its Free Economic Zone
